About mirthe

With an undergraduate degree in Health, Mirthe holds a post-graduate certification in Functional Medicine. Her own diagnosis of the autoimmune condition Crohn’s from an early age on lead her to exploring many different areas of yoga, meditation and dietary interventions, facilitated by her parents being early yoga enthusiast and spending childhood summers at Yesudian’s Yoga Center in Lugano and Thich Nhat Than’s Mindfulness Center Plum Village in the south of France.  

Eventually, always questioning the status quo, she discovered research, that, once implemented, relieved her of her debilitating symptoms, and went on to discover the emerging field of ‘Functional Medicine’. 

 

A stint of travelling the world looking after the NZ Olympic Team and surfers on the World Surfing League as physio, yoga teacher and health coach in her 20ies, was followed by years of health optimisation and Functional Medicine work in the Swiss Alpine town Verbier and bespoke health retreats worldwide. 

 

She has made it her mission to keep digging deeper into research, challenging the status quo, to find the most efficient and tailored health solutions for her patients, and help them live the best possible life. 

 

Mirthe is now based between London and Verbier, but available for online consultations and bespoke in person health retreats worldwide.
