WEEK 1

jump right in

In order for you to get the most out of these 8 weeks, we will use the first session to lay out the action steps of the program, without yet spending too much time on the ‘why’ behind it. This will consist of simple dietary and lifestyle tweaks plus some supplements to support your hormones, cycle and metabolism. You will implement these over the course of the next 8 weeks, and see your body, cycle and hormones transform.

 

Research suggests it takes around 2 months on average for a new habit to form, so hopefully at the end of these 8 weeks you will have made some of our strategies a new lifestyle.

To make this health reset count for you, and not another wagon to fall off, we will define your ‘why’.

WEEK 2

hormone & inflammation abc

We will dive into the biology and underlying trigger for the different hormone issues from a Functional Medicine perspective.

This includes topics such as

  • Estrogen dominance,
  • Progesterone and thyroid health,
  • Inflammation,
  • Nutrient deficiencies,
  • Stress biology,
  • Chronic infections such as candida, gut and vaginal microbiome disruptions,
  • Food intolerances.

We will also discuss which tests (including hormones, nutrient status, etc) would be recommended to do and when in your cycle if you would like to make your health journey more precise, and where you can get these done*.

We will be discussing specific hormones and nutrients later in the course (once everyone had a chance to go and get their blood work done if you choose to do so).

Your GP may be open to get some of these done for you (for free), alternatively Mirthe will direct you to where you can get these done privately (All lab costs are depending on which test(s) you decide to go for, and are in addition to the cost of this course).

WEEK 3

carbs, Intermittent fasting & more

We will discuss the importance of blood sugar control, how and when to use carbohydrates (and even cake!) to keep our hormones happy and metabolism on fire. 

We will further dive into how and when in the cycle to implement fasting and keto intermittently to support cellular clean-up and fat burning, without running into issues with our cycles. 

How to use trendy tools like continuous blood sugar monitoring for better outcomes.

WEEK 4

gut health, protein, & more dietary tweaks

We will discuss the role our gut and vaginal microbiome, including common infections like candida and HPV can make us more inflamed and contribute to estrogen dominance, endometriosis, a sluggish metabolism.

We will also take a more in depth look at other dietary factors and how to tweak them for optimal hormones, metabolism and health, such as protein, fats, cruciferous vegetables, and more.

WEEK 5

sleep, stress & circadian rhythm

Learn further how stress, sleep and our circadian rhythm affect our hormones, cravings, and overall health, and best ways to support them for maximum effects (with the least time commitment).

We will discuss home health tracking tools like the OURA ring, etc, that help us check in on our stress levels, sleep, and assist in making targeted changes.

WEEK 6

movement & cuddles

We will dive into how exercise, social connectedness and cuddles all affect our hormones, inflammation, metabolism and health, and best ways to implement them for maximum effect

We will speak more on the role of pelvic floor and deep core muscle engagement for urinary continence, low back pain prevention, more pleasure in the bedroom and a flatter stomach!

And lastly, we will discuss myofascial tension, connective tissue health and how to support lymphatic drainage, cellulite, detox and more by using tools like foam rollers, massage balls, infrared saunas and stretching.

WEEK 7

Did you know that commonly used utensils like plastic bottles, non-stick cooking pans, body and face creams, and more, can mess with our hormones?

 

Learn how to detox your kitchen, bathroom cabinet, and life for better better hormones and wellbeing.

WEEK 8

In this last session we will look at

 –> How you can turn all the action steps into a new lifestyle with an 80/20 approach.

–> Your lab work such as hormones and nutrient levels and discuss some adjustments in supplements, diet & lifestyle accordingly.

–> Bioidentical hormones: Pro’s and con’s, and whether they might be right for you.
